Additionally, Prabowo stated that the partnership between the United States and ASEAN has created job opportunities for over 625,000 American workers.”With a strong US partnership, ASEAN has become the world’s fifth largest economy, creating job opportunities for over 625,000 American workers through an annual export worth US$122 billion,” said Prabowo.In the geopolitical context, Prabowo emphasized the importance of realizing an open, predictable, and inclusive Indo-Pacific for all countries. The Head of State highlighted the importance of the international community’s moral courage in addressing humanitarian crises in Palestine.”Indonesia appreciates the results of the Sharm El Sheikh Peace Summit and your leadership, Mr. President, in advancing a credible roadmap towards everlasting peace. The consultation discussed the implementation of the Five-Point Consensus (5PC) regarding the situation in Myanmar, which covered cessation of hostilities, provision of humanitarian assistance, appointment and visits of special envoys, and inclusive dialogue.Additionally, on October 25, the ASEAN Foreign Ministers Meeting was held. The 47th ASEAN Summit also addressed the South China Sea disputes.
