The explosion occurred twice around the school mosque during Friday prayers. The incident resulted in dozens of casualties suffering from burns and injuries from shrapnel, and caused panic in the school environment and the surrounding community. The alleged perpetrator is a student at the school.Metro Jaya Regional Police Chief Inspector General Asep Edi Suheri revealed that the student suspected of being the perpetrator is known to be reclusive and interested in violent content.
